This series of material collages using ephemera, business cards, photos, and notes found in used books and other sources asks what it means to redact personal information in storytelling and furthermore, how these redactions and informational absences illustrate a narrative about abandonment and forgotten histories, serving to fictionalize or obstruct the clarity of biography.
Exhibited at the Scarab Club Gallery in Midtown Detroit, 2022.
